Ben Musgrove focuses his practice primarily on the corporate and civil areas of law, specifically focusing on the respective areas of litigation. By utilizing his charismatic personality and broad range of knowledge attained from his background in science and medicine, Ben is able to greatly impact different areas of law and improve his clients’ experiences.
Before joining McConnell & Sneed, LLC, Ben was provided the opportunity to clerk for some of Atlanta’s premier law firms, and had the distinct honor of serving as Judicial Intern for the Honorable T. Jackson Bedford, Jr. of the Fulton County Superior Court.
Ben is a newly admitted member of the State Bar of Georgia and the most recent addition to the McConnell & Sneed, LLC team.
Growing up in Carrollton, Georgia, Ben attended Carrollton High School and graduated in 2002. Following high school, Ben attended the University of West Georgia where he was an active member and President of the Chi Phi Fraternity and Student Government Association. Following graduation from UWG in 2007 with a B.S. in Biology, Ben moved to Vail, Colorado and pursued his passion for skiing. While in Vail, Ben was accepted to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he would study and eventually graduate in 2010 with a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science. During his graduate school tenure, Ben also helped establish the Young Alumni Organization at the University of West Georgia, serving as President from 2009-2010.
Following a decision to change career paths, in 2010, Ben enrolled in law school. While pursuing his law degree, Ben became an active member of his law school community and served as a Student Ambassador. Additionally, Ben was a member of the law school’s Mock Trial competitive team, serving as Chair for the team in 2013. It was through this experience, and while competing against other teams such as Duke University, Wake Forrest University, The University of Wisconsin, and the University of Alabama, that Ben confirmed his desire and ability to pursue a career in litigation. Thus, in May of 2013, Ben graduated from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, in the top 10% of his class with a J.D. degree.
Ben and his wife, Jessica, along with their three dogs Sam, Stella, and Jasper, live in Cumming, Georgia. Ben is an active member of the community and hopes to one day run for local office.
